Our Story

The Beam
Legacy Group

A husband-and-wife holding company building ventures from the extra room in their house — one real idea at a time.

It started with a room,
a plan, and each other

The Beam Legacy Group wasn't born in a boardroom or funded by a pitch deck. It was born in the extra room of Jimmy and Julia's home in Corvallis, Oregon — a space that doubles as an office, a workshop, and the launchpad for everything they're building together.

As a husband-and-wife team, Jimmy and Julia founded The Beam Legacy Group LLC as the parent company for their growing family of ventures. The name says it all: "Beam" for the light they aim to cast forward, and "Legacy" for the long game they're playing. This isn't about one product or one moment — it's about building something that outlasts both of them.

Bootstrapped by choice.
Transparent by nature.

There are no investors to answer to. No board meetings. No permission slips. Every venture under The Beam Legacy Group is bootstrapped — funded by the work, grown by the hustle, and shaped by the real constraints of building something from nothing.

Jimmy and Julia believe that entrepreneurship shouldn't be gatekept behind startup culture jargon and venture capital. They document the whole journey — the real costs, the real failures, the unglamorous middle — because they think the world needs fewer highlight reels and more honest playbooks.

Everything is built transparently. If they spend $47 on a failed prototype, you'll hear about it. If something works, they'll show you exactly how. That's not a marketing strategy — it's just how they operate.

Built on real principles

01

Built Transparently

Real life. Real process. Real story. We share the numbers, the mistakes, and the journey — because the world needs more honest playbooks, not highlight reels.

02

Built with Family

Family first. Community always. This isn't just a business — it's a family legacy. Every decision starts at home, and every venture is built to strengthen the people around us.

03

Built to Last

Made in the USA. Made right. Made to last. We're not building to flip. We're building things we'd be proud to hand to our kids. Every decision is measured in decades, not quarters.

The ventures we're building

The Beam Legacy Group is the holding company. Underneath it, each venture gets its own brand, its own identity, and its own shot at becoming something meaningful.

The room is small.
The vision isn't.

Jimmy and Julia aren't waiting for permission to build. From their home in Corvallis, Oregon, they're proving that you don't need a Silicon Valley address or a million-dollar war chest to create something that matters. You just need a room, a partner, and the willingness to start before you're ready.
